2011

But wait! There's more! I am busy puttering around doing things in my last week on the island for 2011.

Did I say the shed was finished? Well, the construction part at least. The paint crew shows up and some shelves are installed.

I volunteered to take photos at the Crow Lake Classic, a bass fishing tournament. The weather wasn't the best, but all the teams said they enjoyed themselves.

I took my guests out to dinner at Tinker's for a fish fry. Of course, a good time was had by all.

A morning break, and then we finished the shed! Woo-hoo!

We're making headway.... here's what we've done so far.

Labor Day means you work, right? So I put my guests to work putting up the walls on my shed.

Friday night means another fish fry at Tinkers.

My major project is the building of a storage shed for gas tanks, lawn mower, chairs... all the stuff down by my dock. I'm getting help getting the materials and with the building of it. This is the poor man's way to build a shed, all rough cut lumber, vertical siding.

Pictures from the 2011 Nestor Falls Softball Tourney. A great weekend!

The Triple P Fun Run was held, not a lot of participants, but a lot of fun!

Time to start cleaning up the downed trees.

It was a dark and stormy afternoon, then it got darker!

Went with friends to Tinker's for a fish fry. Yum!

I bought a new refrigerator new refrigerator and had it delivered.

Canada Day in Nestor Falls means a lot of activities including Balls Over the Falls. A $5 donation buys a numbered bobber that could mean over $600 in your pocket!
